Vaccination of dogs
Depending on the location of the dog, highly recommended vaccines include rabies, canine parvovirus, canine distemper, and infectious canine hepatitis (using canine adenovirus type 2 to avoid reaction). Vaccination for other diseases, including leptospirosis, Lyme disease, Bordetella bronchiseptica, parainfluenza virus, and canine coronavirus, are used after determining the risk of contact with these pathogens.

I hate to bust your bubble but this photo was proven to be a fake. This photo was a digital manipulation.

That picture is a photoshopped Neapolitan Mastiff. Zorba, who was an actual dog, held the record in 1989 and he was an English Mastiff. He was 343 pounds and was just over 8 feet long. This is a photoshopped picture.

actually you guys are dumb, the picture above is a neopolitan mastiff (they are black), Zorba, who did win the Guinness world record was an English mastiff (they are tan). The photo above is not Zorba, but Zorba was a real and very large dog.

Umm. I hate to burst your bubble but the dog IS real. It is in the Gunisses Book or world Records. In the 90's. I have the book and am looking at the pic myself. Don't believe everything you hear on the net. By the way he is not 280somelbs. He is 380 some lbs. He is also over 8 ft tall and his real name is Zorba. Look it up and do some REAL research. Don't be a fool.. Go here, it's the best I could give you. Go get the book for better study...

I'm afraid all of you have some correct information and some not so correct information. Zorba was a real dog and was a fawn colored english mastiff who did hold the Guinness world record for heaviest (343 lbs) and longest dog (8ft 3inches long)at 8 years old. He measured 37inches tall at his shoulders. This record was set in November of 1989. I am unsure of exactly when Zorba died, but it was likely shortly after that, as the average lifespan of a mastiff is only 8 - 12 years. The current record holder is Hercules. He is also a fawn colored mastiff, and weighs in at 282 pounds with a 38 inch neck. I believe he has held the record since around 2002, but I wouldn't swear it. Some pics of him can be found by google searching "Hercules Mastiff". As to the photo above, it is a fake. As to the comment about the color difference between Neo's and english mastiffs, the english mastiff, while most commonly fawn, can be found in apricot, brindle, silver brindle, and tiger brindle. Having owned english mastiffs, I know more about them than I do the neo's, but I believe the neopolitan mastiffs are generally brindle like the one in the photoshopped pic above, however, they are not near that big. They tend to be about the same size, or slightly smaller, than the average english mastiff. Hope this clears things up for everyone.
