The website was originally developed in 2005 to present the interesting aspects of health and disease. At the time, Dr. Khushnood was an aspiring medical resident hoping to disperse healthcare knowledge to the common man. Writing for pleasure, he began his blog with one humble article and progressed to writing many more. He now works fulltime as a biochemical laboratory senior resident in Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Hospital, while advancing his website mission to gain societal involvement in reaching out to the public. He currently manages Interesting Health Articles as the owner and chief editor.
It was an honor to have guest bloggers like Sandy Powers join in 2008. Through the various contributions of her articles, she brings several natural and holistic health ideals to the blog. Her personal victory against cancer is a reminder that small healthy changes add to big healthier rewards. Ms. Powers is author of the renowned book, Organic for Health, where she describes organic eating for a better, healthier lifestyle.
Another blogger, recently promoted as the co-editor of this website, is Shahidah Parveen. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently working as a data analyst at a reputable, academic US hospital. She aspires to bring science to the forefront by specializing in cardiology related pieces, social health updates, and strangely fascinating health facts.
Newly spotted at our website is guest writer, Dr. Kriste. She's a medical doctor concentrating in family practice. She also holds a double major undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology, as well as a master's in Clinical Pathology. She's been a published writer for the last two years and was named amongst Associated Content's top 1,000 writers for 2007.
As the blog continues to grow, Interesting Health Articles plans to entertain with and engage people in useful health information. Our current contest is exemplifier of this campaign, as several participants showcase their writing talents.
