Year by year ,drug addiction is affecting more and more people.A lot of people are engaged in researching drug abuse ,and helping drug addicts get out of their addiction.
A number of high profile cases makes it interesting.Drug addiction has destroyed lives,relationships and career.
Recently,I came across an article on a website which had a list of famous drug users.
Some of them are
Freud, Sigmund : Cocaine
Gates, Bill : LSD
Gore, Al : Cannabis
Hitler, Adolph : Amphetamine
Its said ,"The best way to prevent an addiction to an illegal drug is not to take the drug at all".
Some drugs are prescribed by doctors.You may get addicted to that too.Trust the doctor and follow his advice.They prescribe at safe doses and the effects are monitored.

Considering the cases of Sigmond Freud and Bill Gates, I have heard that geniuses experiment with drugs sometimes since they never have enough stimulus, their brains are bored.
Of course we all know Al Gore is a genius, he invented the internet!
