In women, SSRIs can cause weight gain and even make it harder to lose weight. I guess it's a bit of give and take, lose depression and gain weight. But then, the additional weight might can make you more depressed. Blah!

I was on them for 10 years and finally had to wean myself off. I became a zombie. No emotion at all.....someone could have told me someone in my family died and I would just sit there and not even cry. Nothing made me happy either. Just moderate....it took me about a year to get completely off them. It was pure hell.

My depression is manageable and I am so glad I got off that shiat. It may be good for others, but after 10 years for me, it was just making me a zombie. What kind of life is that? No feelings at all?
